Growing their world

Feel free to draw, write about, photograph, or otherwise interpret the bears — including any other bears you see.

Wonton Bears are shaped by their fold. The first four bears give a sense of what each fold is about. Beyond this, they can appear almost any way. They get their powers from where they go.

Sightings can include objects, scenes, stories — pretty much anything. Whatever makes it to our world is a kind of artefact, like a small remnant of their world.

Please keep whatever you make PG-13, made by you, not generated with AI, and respectful of other people and their characters, art and designs. Please respect other people’s IP. If something falls outside the spirit of this, we may ask that it be changed or removed where appropriate. 

Your original work stays yours. You’re welcome to sell small-run prints or reproductions of your own artwork, but please don’t make other products using the bear designs, the folds , or the Wonton Bears name without agreeing it with us first. 

Sometimes we commission artists to help us see what else might live there. If we ask for a piece, we pay for it.

We only share work with permission and credit. If something ever grows into something we make or sell, we’ll agree terms with the creators involved first.
