How are wonton bears made?

Wonton bears are designed by hand locally in Australia and made in Sri Lanka by workers who are paid a fair wage, in a factory that achieves the highest rating across all categories assessed by independent social compliance audit.

They are made from ingredients that minimise their impact on our planet.

Their fur and most of their filling is organic cotton. Organic cotton means fewer carbon emissions, and avoids the toxins and micro plastics associated with conventional cotton and polyester.

They have just a small amount of recycled polyester inside for washability, durability and pillowy-ness.

And natural stones instead of the usual plastic pellets to help them hold their poses.

Why tonnes?

Wonton bears are made from the friendliest materials we can find. But even if we drastically reduce our emissions right now, we still need to remove CO2 from our atmosphere to avoid the worst impacts of climate change. The cost to our future is far greater than the cost to act now.

How are the tonnes removed?

We partner with Greenfleet to plant 100-year protected native forests that will sequester CO2 from our atmosphere.

Greenfleet is an environmental not-for-profit restoring long term ecosystems and mitigating biodiversity loss. Projects are monitored, measured and independently audited to ensure the carbon commitments are delivered.

How do wonton bears' power charms work?

Hug a wonton bear and they'll use their power charm for you. They might bring something. They might supercharge you. You'll know when it's worked.

When bears of the four folds come together, you have a wonton power team. Give them a mission and see how they work together.
